| The
Scanner Crane is a compact combi crane.
Its
extremely light design (hollow aluminium) makes it the
easiest crane to handle in its array.
The arm reach can vary from 375 cms up to 525cms.
That's a lenshight of 540 cms.
To extend the arm, the front section slides out and
locks.
Counterweights click on in no time, balancing is really
easy with a wind-out handle at the rear. So when changing
the arm lenght the remote head doesn't have to be dismantled,
which saves a lot of set-up time.
The aft side is very handy if space is an issue.
The remote head (pan/tilt) and lens (focus/zoom) can
be controlled by a single camera operator at the rear
of the crane.
The Scanner crane accepts both Canon
and Fujinon lenses.
The head is very responsive and has a smoothness unrivalled
by other lightweight heads. It can accept a load up
to 15 kgs (that's a fully equipped ENG camera).
The controls may be separated from the crane which enables
a combination of a camera operator and a grip.
The monitor bracket is mounted above the support column.
The dolly is fitted with rubber studio wheels.
The Scanner crane can be used on a track (62 cms smallbase
rails) in combination with a dolly & column.
The entire crane system is foldable and fits onto the
dolly.
